UNSW Elite Squad
University Basketball League (UBL) - August to October 2025
UniSport Nationals Tournament - Gold Coast, 28th September to 3rd October 2025
The 2025 UNSW Elite Squad will form our extended squad rosters for our University Basketball League and UniSport Nationals teams for the 2025 season. Final teams for both will be selected from this extended squad after further training sessions post trials.

Our UBL program, is an 11-week competition running between August and October in 2025. It is a highly competitive league, where we play representative games against other universities from around Australia.
UniSport Nationals is a week-long tournament at the end of September, which will constitute a 'break week' in the UBL. It will be played on the Gold Coast, where teams from universities around Australia will travel to compete in a fun week of competition.

2025 TRIAL DETAILS
THIS TRIAL IS FOR THE UNSW BASKETBALL ELITE SQUAD - FINAL SELECTIONS FOR BOTH THE UBL SQUAD AND UNI NATIONALS TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED FROM THIS EXTENDED SQUAD.

All trials will be held at the UNSW fitness and aquatic center, on the level 1 basketball courts. The cost to trial is $10 for non-members, or free for UNSW Basketball Club Members, this can be paid cash or card upon entry to the courts.

2025 UNSW ELITE SQUAD
The 2025 Elite Squad will be announced via email within the week following trials. The teams will be posted on our social media pages and website following this.
Selected players will be contacted via email to confirm their position in the squad and will be contacted with further information regarding training and tournaments.
